Zelmanski, Danner & Fioritto, PLLC’s Partner Edward J. Zelmanski has been recognized by Michigan Lawyers Weekly as a “Michigan Go to Lawyer” in 2022 for real estate and condominium law.
Mr. Zelmanski is very active within the community association industry and devotes a substantial amount of time to educating homeowners and industry professionals about the legal issues affecting community associations. He currently serves as Director of the Michigan Chapter of the Community Association’s Institute (CAI). He is a frequent lecturer on matters relating to community and homeowners’ affairs and management.
He has represented large-scale developments, new developments, mixed-use, senior communities, master and sub-associations, golf club and lake developments. Mr. Zelmanski advises association boards in preparing, interpreting, and enforcing declarations, contracts and leases, easements, amending governing documents, land use disputes as well as providing counseling and problem solving for community association boards and members. He has represented associations in civil litigation to resolve disputes between associations and members, vendors, contractors, neighboring landowners, and counties, cities and municipalities.
